Help with your chart, six widget families, the Live Activity, optional calendar marks, local notifications, the fourteen-day trial, or lifetime access. Sumuhurta has no account, so support starts with a simple email.
Purchase not showing?
Open Sumuhurta, tap the SUMUHURTA wordmark, then tap Restore purchase while online and signed into the Apple Account that owns it.
Widget looks old?
Open Sumuhurta once to refresh your profile, entitlement, location, and timeline. After travel, foreground the app once at the new place.
No notification?
Check When a window opens in Sumuhurta Settings and Sumuhurta's permission in iOS Settings. Window alerts are intentionally silent outside 07:00–21:59 local time.
Don't know your birth time?
Choose Approximate or I don't know during setup. Sumuhurta still reads the solar day and Moon without inventing an ascendant from an unknown time.
Is this science?
No, and Sumuhurta does not claim it is. Sumuhurta applies a documented set of classical Vedic timing factors, including choghadiya, hora, and dasha, using its on-device calculation. Some people hold these hours as belief; others keep them as a daily rhythm, one protected hour for what matters. Both are welcome. Sumuhurta makes no claims about outcomes.
Where is Rahu Kaal?
Every personal window Sumuhurta surfaces is calculated to avoid Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, Gulika, and the Kaal, Rog and Udveg choghadiya periods. This is a focused exclusion rule, not a complete electional-muhurta assessment. Sumuhurta does not display negative-period tables; use a full panchang or consult a qualified practitioner if you need a broader traditional assessment.
What do I do with a window?
Place something into it. Each window says what it favours: deep work, sending and deciding, beginnings, travel, a prayer before something new, or anything that matters. A window is an hour that favours you; what you put inside it is yours. If you ignore one, nothing happens: no streaks, no scores, and the next window always comes.
When does the free two weeks begin?
It begins when you create your first chart, not when you first look at the generic sky, and runs fourteen days. The start is kept in this device's Keychain and may survive reinstall, so deleting and reinstalling Sumuhurta does not create another trial. No card is required.
What remains free after the trial?
The complete app screen remains free: today's windows, day and night, the scrub gesture, and the share card. The one-time lifetime purchase keeps ambient delivery active: widgets, StandBy, locally scheduled window notifications, and the window Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. There is no subscription.
How does location work?
After you create a chart, Sumuhurta asks for optional When-In-Use access so it can adapt after meaningful travel. It requests reduced accuracy by default and rounds any coordinate it receives to an approximately 1 km grid before using or storing the coarse viewing place on your device. If you decline or revoke access, Sumuhurta uses your selected birth place. It never transmits your location to Colorblast LLC.
How does optional Calendar access work?
Calendar access is off by default. If you enable Meetings on the day line, Sumuhurta asks for permission and reads event start and end times on this phone to draw faint marks. It does not retain titles, notes, locations, attendees, calendar names, or other event content, and it does not transmit calendar data. Turn the setting off or revoke Calendar access in iOS Settings to remove the marks.
How many notifications can Sumuhurta send?
Notifications are off by default. The main alert follows the primary window in each sunrise-to-sunrise cycle. Optional advance, secondary, and 9pm evening-bookend alerts are available, but all Sumuhurta alerts are capped at three per device-local civil day. Window alerts are scheduled only for openings from 07:00 through 21:59. The 9pm bookend is sent only when enabled and when tonight has no later window. You can change these settings in Sumuhurta or iOS Settings.
How do refunds and purchase revocation work?
Apple processes Sumuhurta's lifetime purchase. Use reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple's purchase and refund options. If Apple revokes or refunds the entitlement, Sumuhurta updates when the running app receives Apple's transaction change or the next time you bring Sumuhurta to the foreground. An active trial may continue until its own end.
Which widgets are supported?
Sumuhurta supports six widget families: Home Screen small, medium, and large plus Lock Screen rectangular, circular, and inline. StandBy uses the small widget presentation. Widget timing is ultimately scheduled by iOS; opening Sumuhurta once after onboarding, travel, or a purchase gives the extension its newest local snapshot.
How does the Live Activity work?
During an active trial or with lifetime access, opening Sumuhurta within an hour of a personal window, or while it is open, can start a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. It is created locally by the running app, receives no remote pushes, and becomes stale when the window closes. The next app open removes a finished activity. You can disable Live Activities for Sumuhurta in iOS Settings.
How do I delete my chart?
Tap the SUMUHURTA wordmark, scroll to the bottom of Settings, and choose Start over. This deletes the birth profile, coarse viewing place, shared widget snapshot, and pending Sumuhurta notifications from the app's containers. It does not erase Apple's purchase record or the device Keychain trial marker.
Where are my birth details stored?
On your device. Chart calculation and bundled city search run offline. Sumuhurta has no account, developer-operated server, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Optional Calendar event times are also read on-device and are not transmitted. See the privacy policy for the complete explanation.
